File Sharing

File Server

The principle purpose of a file server is sharing and storing data in a central place on your network,
once on our devices, data can be accessed from local network as well as anywhere in the world
using virtually any internet connection. High standard security and access management allows a
multiple levels of protection. Security suite allows the server manager to create user ID and
password, and define the authority and quota for each user. Thus, the personal data stored is well
protected. All data can be accessed from the internet creating an easy to use remote working
platform, maximising productivity of remote workers.

Our Storage device can be used for sharing files across Windows, Mac, Linux, and Unix systems.

• Your data is well protected: You can create user ID and password, and define the authority
  and quota of each user.
• IP filter control: You can allow or deny specified IP connections.
• SSL Security (HTTPS): can be accessed and configured by the web browser securely.
• Remote login to your device by SSH (secure shell) or Telnet connection.
• Secure FTP: Share and transfer your data over SSL/TLS (Explicit) encryption. Passive FTP port
  range setup is also supported.
• Smart FTP policy control: The maximum number of all FTP connections and a single account
  can be configured.
• Encrypted remote replication: Data stored on our Storage Device on can be backed up to
  another Storage device over the Internet securely.
• Support with Windows AD: With Windows AD (Active Directory) support, you can import the
  user accounts from Windows AD domain to the Our Storage device. This saves your time
  creating users one by one.

Share Folder Management

You can select to show or hide the network share folders of Our Storage device on My Network
Places.

Network Recycle Bin

This feature is where files deleted from the network share folders of our storage device are moved
to. These files can be restored at anytime any time in case of any unintended file deletion. This
feature removes the stress of the standard network file sharing solution, where files that are
deleted are lost!

Web File Manager

Web File Manager provides an easy solution for you to easily download, upload, and manage the
files on the server by web browser.

FTP Server

Having troubles sending large files by e-mail due to the limited capacity? You can establish your
own FTP server. You can manage the access authority of the FTP server and share your files with
your friends or customers easily in a few steps. FTP ability combined with our software creates an
easy to use Remote Work platform from which you can access all data stored on your network

Data Security

Our Storage devices come with a range of backup solutions which can be used to backup any
sensitive data from a standalone PC. The intelligent automatic backup software is provided for
users to perform real-time synchronization or schedule backup from multiple Windows PCs
to this device. The data in this device can also be backed up to an external hard drive. This device works
well with other backup software, e.g. Acronis True Image, CA BrightStor ARCserve Backup, and
EMC Retrospect.

Backup Server

Our Storage device brings you the enterprise-class technology to make backup extremely simple
and efficient! The intelligent automatic backup software is provided for users to perform real-time
synchronization or schedule backup from  multiple PCs to Our Storage device.

One touch USB auto copy

You can connect a USB device such as digital camera to the front panel USB port, and press the one
touch button to copy data from the device to Our Storage device. You can also configure the
settings on Our Storage device and select to copy the data to the external device by pressing the
one touch button.

Encrypted Remote Replication

Encrypted remote replication brings next level of data security for your data. Encrypted remotes
replication provides high level of data protection. Files can be backed up from our storage devices
to local or  remote locations . Advanced options including data compression, block-level
incremental backup, and data synchronization are supported to optimize the bandwidth and time

Internet Services

Web Server

With the built-in phpMyAdmin, Joomla! and dual support of MySQL and SQLite, SME & SOHO users
can easily set up their own web server. With the editable php.ini support, there is no need of going
through all the hassles of setting up a web server. You can either develop programs by yourself or
download a variety of open-sourced applications, such as online shops, forums, blogs, etc. over the
Internet.  

MySQL Server

Our Storage device is the most affordable choice as a standalone database server for system
integrators. It can be flexibly applied in various deployments such as a database server of another
web server in remote site or as an additional backup database server to achieve system
redundancy.

Built-in DDNS support

Our Storage device supports dynamic DNS (DDNS). You can register a unique domain name from
DDNS service provider and assign it to your Our Storage device. There is no more need to
remember a lengthy IP address!

Printer Server

You can share your printer device over the network by simply connecting USB printers to USB port
(Max. 3 sets) and enabling the printer sharing function.

UPS Support

The key function of UPS is to provide power for the server for a period of time when a power failure
occurs. Our Storage device supports both APC and MGE UPS devices which help users store the
data in time and avoid critical data loss when power outage occurs during data transfer.

Surveillance Station

The Surveillance Station enables users to configure and connect two IP cameras simultaneously and remotely manage the functions, including real time monitoring, recording, and playback by IE browser over the Internet. Users can flexibly define the recording settings: continuous recording,
motion-detection recording, and schedule recording according to their security plan. All of the files
are stored in AVI format with time stamp, users can easily search and play the files by Windows
Media Player.
